Jeannie Thib (1955–2013) was a Canadian artist, sculptor and printmaker. She was born in North Bay, Ontario, and completed her BFA at York University in Toronto in 1979. Thib was a member of the Red Head Gallery and the Name 10 Parts of the Body collective in Toronto from 1991-97, and during this time she developed work about the body. As an artist, Thib exhibited in Canada, the Netherlands, USA, Cuba and Mexico. Collections include The National Gallery of Canada, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montréal, Oakville Galleries and The Washington DC Convention Center.
