On Saturday November 22, CAROUSEL will join approximately thirty of Canada’s best independent publishers and magazines for Meet the Presses Indie Literary Market in Toronto. This annual event introduces the public to independent literary publishers and authors of books, chapbooks, magazines, broadsheets, and recordings that are largely not available in bookstores. On Sat Nov 01 CAROUSEL will be participating in Canzine Toronto, Canada’s largest festival of zine culture and independent arts, hosted by Broken Pencil Magazine. Come one, come all to Santa’s Choice Zine Fair! This is the 4th annual zine fair taking place at Xpace Cultural Centre (2 – 303 Lansdowne Ave, Toronto) from 10-6pm on Sat Dec 21, 2013. There will be zines, comics, small press, prints, t-shirts and tote bags, jewellery, crafts, and other handmade multiples by local artists and designers. Admission is free.
