Patternicity

Jim Johnstone’s new book of poetry out in April!

Toronto-based editor and poet Jim Johnstone‘s second collection of poetry from Nightwood Editions is now available for pre-ordering through Amazon Books. Patternicity clocks in at 80 pages and includes a selection of poems for which Johnstone received a 2009 CBC Literary Award. The collection follows the author’s debut collection, The Velocity of Escape (Guernica Editions, 2008).

Tip: use a QR Code Reader to scan the QR Code on page 55 of CAROUSEL 25 to hear Johnstone read his featured poem, “No Sentence” ( … don’t have your copy in front of you or a functional reader? Fine: here’s a cheater’s link)
