New Crust describes the eruption of new land as a fantastical phenomenon. Mapped by imagery of creation, pseudo biology and extraterrestrial matter, Luk constructs a new landscape through painting and fugitive sculptures. New Crust will be installed at Howard Park Institute Window Gallery throughout June.
RECEPTION> Fri Jun 01, 7pm: join us for a combined Happy Sleepy (WNDW 2) / Eunice Luk (WNDW 3) reception at Pho Nho (2060 Dundas St W); join us for beer and appetizers (please RSVP). Following the celebration, there will be an 8:30pm walking tour to both windows led by the artists.
