Braveland, which will be installed at Fine & Dandy Window Gallery throughout June, presents a pair of giant medals made of brightly painted cardboard and textiles and emblazoned with the phrases “Forza” and “Bon Courage”. Set in a fantastical, geometric landscape, the medals celebrate the viewer’s many daily acts of courage.
RECEPTION> Fri Jun 01, 7pm: join us for a combined Happy Sleepy (WNDW 2) / Eunice Luk (WNDW 3) reception at Pho Nho (2060 Dundas St W); join us for beer and appetizers (please RSVP). Following the celebration, there will be an 8:30pm walking tour to both windows led by the artists.
